ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello! I am an artist and illustrator.
I'm endlessly inspired by forests and nature that my home country Latvia is rich with. Also I get my inspiration from human emotions and animals - main themes of my work.
Before I decided to start a path of a full-time artist I graduated from academy in Latvia as a graphic designer. During four years of study I got a lot of useful skills and knowledge that I can use now on my path.
From early childhood I was fascinated by mystical stories and movies and this affected my art in the biggest sense.
Since I'm very sensitive to animals pain, concepts of my works are full of compassion and appreciation of life beings and nature, and objection of cruelty of humanity.
I work from home in my little studio aka living room and this seems the only right way of working to me. Even when I relax, I can behold works that I'm working on and not to lose the connection to my paintings.
I share majority of my works and work processes on social media, so feel free to take a look on my pages:
